Open Projects
The DESY CMS group offers several topics for bachelor, master and PhD theses in collaboration with a university (e.g. Hamburg University).
In addition, postdoctoral positions are available via the DESY fellowship program.
The group is actively participating in the CMS experiment at the LHC, in particular in construction and operation of detectors and the analysis of data related to Higgs physics, supersymmetry, top and QCD.
The combinations of physics analysis and detector operation or upgrade activity is possible and encouraged.
